About Jenna Kopitske
Jenna Kopitske is a drummer, pianist, composer and songwriter originally from Appleton, WI. In January 2023, she moved to Nashville, TN and has since toured Hawaii and Italy as a freelance drummer, performed at the Grand Ole Opry for the Josie Music Awards, wrote an original score to horror short film “Pure Evil” by Walter J. Buck, and more. She proudly endorses Paiste Cymbals and Vater Percussion. In her free time, she plays drums with Danny Garwood & Co., a blues/rock powerhouse band she recently joined. She also teaches drum-set, percussion and piano lessons and studies country, classic rock, blues and pop music.
As a performer, Ms. Kopitske has gained experience in both live and studio settings. She has recorded many projects on drum-set, percussion, organ and piano in an array of styles. She composes her own instrumental piano music as well. Commonly compared to the late composer George Winston, she similarly writes in the style of new age-contemporary with a wide, uplifting, and ambient nature. She released her debut EP in 2018 entitled Unheard Of, a sophomore EP in 2021 entitled Pride & Joy, and a single in 2022 entitled “Losing Light” with a sync intended focus.
Ms. Kopitske received her bachelor’s degree in music industry with an emphasis of music business at the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh in May 2023. Her studies included a hybrid music publishing/sync internship at Primary Wave who are based in Los Angeles and New York City. Since the fall of 2024, Ms. Kopitske has had major success landing her composition “Cascade” into half a million in-store playlists around the world in the USA, Canada, Netherlands, Belgium, Hong Kong, China, India, Germany, and Italy including Walmart, Planet Fitness, Louis Vuitton, Dior Couture, Subway, McDonald’s, Starbucks, Sephora, and more. Besides drumming on tour, Ms. Kopitske is also anticipating a career as a composer in the film scoring industry. She plans to begin recording her third studio album in 2024.
